Workshop & Concert with Lea Morris: A Joyful Gathering of Voices
Last weekend, Hackney Voices community choir and Joanna Foster were thrilled to host a vibrant workshop and concert led by the inspiring Lea Morris. The day was filled with music, laughter, and connection as singers of all backgrounds came together to share in the power of harmony. Lea’s warm teaching style and uplifting songs brought out the best in every participant, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity that carried through to the evening performance.
The video captures the spirit of the day—voices blending beautifully, smiles all around, and a true sense of community. Whether you’re an experienced singer or someone who just loves to sing in the shower, Hackney Voices welcomes you to join us. Come for the music, stay for the friendship, and discover the joy of singing together.
Until We Meet Again - July 2020
Members of Hackney Voices, The Mudlarks, and The Feel Good Choirs come together in this heartfelt virtual performance of “Until We Meet Again” — an original lockdown song by Cleo Laine. Created during challenging times, this collaboration celebrates community, connection, and the power of song. All proceeds support Singing for Lung Health Groups across London, helping people breathe easier and sing together again.
Experience the energy and joy of community singing as Hackney Voices welcome musician and facilitator Tom Morley for a vibrant workshop session. In this video, Tom leads the choir through the uplifting song “Amani–Ubuntu,” celebrating peace, unity, and shared humanity. Join us in this moment of rhythm, harmony, and collective spirit.
